“Marvel 14: super-heroes vs. censorship” to be screened at Lyon’s Etrange Festival

Metaluna productions is proud to announce the avant-première screening of the 52 minutes version of the documentary “Marvel 14: super-heroes vs. censorship” at the Etrange Festival of Lyon (France). The Festival will take place at the Comoedia theater between march 31st and April 6th.

Miss Claude Vistel, of the “éditions Lug”, as well as Philippe Roure and Jean Depelley (directors) and Raphaël Colson (writer, editor / Les Moutons Electriques) will be there for a debate right after the documentary’s projection.

“Dolorosa”, the short movie by Christophe Debacq, has been screened for its world premiere this Saturday (October, 24th 2009) as part of the L’Etrange Festival in Strasbourg (France) where it has been very well received by the audience. Metaluna Productions would like to take this opportunity to thank the festival crew, Philippe, Marc, FX and Marie-Laure particularly.You will find below some pictures taken during the festival.

“Dolorosa” will be part of the official selection of the L’Etrange Festival of Strasbourg, France. The festival will take place from October 21st to October 25th, 2009. It will be the world premiere for this short movie directed by Christophe Debacq for Metaluna Productions.

Nôdôsa’s debut album endorsed by Metaluna Productions

French melodic Death Metal band Nôdôsa for whom Metaluna Productions shot a music video (for the song “Le vide”, directed by Fabrice Lambot) have recorded their debut album which, entitled “The door”. Metaluna Productions decided to continue the collaboration with that young yet promising band offering them an endorsement for the release of the CD version of the album. The full-length will include, as a bonus CD-Rom part, the afore-mentioned video and will soon be available through our Web shop. More details soon…

Fabrice Blin deals with Metaluna Productions

Metaluna Productions is pleased to inform you that we have signed with french director Fabrice Blin to produce his next short film entitled “Mandragore”. Fabrice, who previously directed the short film “Monsieur Méchant” and wrote a biography of french artist René Laloux (”the fantastic planet”), has written a very promising sci-fi-horror short story, in the vein of the original Twilight Zone series, and we are really excited about the project, currently in development. French actress Agathe de la Boulaye (”Alien vs. Predator”, “Dying God”, “Michel Vaillant”, french tv series “Disparitions”) has confirmed her interest in the leading role of Marie. We will keep you posted as the production moves on.

The music video, produced by Metaluna Productions and directed by Fabrice Lambot, for the dutch brutal yet melodic Death Metal band The Monolith DeathCult is now available on this Web site as well as on Metaluna Productions’ official Facebook page.

Shot during the 2009 Chaulnes MetalFest on April, in Chaulnes, France, the video is a mix of WWII documentary images and a live captation of The Monolith DeathCult done by Metaluna Productions.

In a humorous press release, the band said this video’s “not as good as the last one by God Dethroned” which, in fact, was the kind of video they said Metaluna Productions they absolutely would like to avoid! The band was so pleased by the final result they decided to include the music video as a bonus CD-Rom feature on their next CD release.

Hi there, Metaluna soldiers! From the deeps of the Russian forests, we are proud to publish the first official pictures from the “Master of the Bryansk forests” music video we produced for The Monolith Deathcult (ultra brutal yet moody, original and sometimes symphonic Death Metal from Holland). The music video is available on YouTube and already circulated very well since a while now, but we took our time to bring you a much better quality version on Metaluna Productions’ Web site. From today (May 11th) to May 15th, we are shooting at ““le Fort de Seclin”” (also known as “Fort Duhoux”, a 19th century fortification in Seclin, near Lille, Northern France) with Christophe Debacq for his forthcoming short movie “Dolorosa”, starring Clémence Verniau, Sonia Zonenberg and Olivier Scarbonchi. The Metaluna Productions’ team is back from the Chaulnes MetalFest (FR) were we shot the live gig of The Monolith Deathcult, a great new epic and original Death Metal band from The Netherlands. The resulting video, directed by Fabrice Lambot and edited by Fabrice Loez of S.U.P / Supuration might soon become the band’s first ever video clip.
