S.U.P “Traces: part one”

France’s Spherical Unit Provided, aka SuP, are an avantgarde / gothic metal band that existed since 1989 and achieve since their very begining, as Supuration at that time (note Supuration still exist as a side-band), a cult status in the worldwide underground scene for their utterly creative approach of metal music, mixing pop, progressive, dark and gothic elements into an unique mix of innovative, catchy and memorable metal. Their unique approach and varied influences have make each SuP album a new step in terms of quality and originality, keeping the band far away from trends and established styles’ rules and limitations.

They released a previous live DVD, titled “To live alone” (2001) which concept was centered around the band playing a live gig without any audience. Now, “Traces: part one” shows another aspect of the band’s live performance with the capture of a full live gig in front of a full-packed venue’s audience. Professionaly (of course!) captured, this DVD shows all aspects of the band’s live performances, including intricating background video projections, and, most of all, a totally conquered enthusiastic crowd.

The high-quality packaging the band is known for is of no exception with this release as “Traces: part one” comes as a high-quality Digipak with crystal tray and features no less than five bonus music videos, including exclusive, previously unreleased, ones.
