fabrice lambot

From his childhood, Fabrice Lambot used to borrow his dad’s Super 8 camera to shoot little horror and fantasy films, his favorite genres. After studies in cinema, he kept feeding his curiosity by watching hundreds of movies, and in 1996 he even created a fanzine, “Atomovision”, a publication dealing with the vintage horror and sci-fi films. At the same time, he launched SF Collector, a boutique and mail order company specialized in the merchandising on fantastic cinema, that he kept growing on until 2000, when he decided to achieve his goal: be a film-maker. After writing several scripts, he directed in 2002 his first short film, “Insanity”, that was shot in Argentina and was then selected in numerous festivals around the world, including the Brussels International Fantasy Film Festival in 2003. Then he signed a development contract for another short film project, “Le Pénitent”, that is for now in the limbs of development Hell. In 2005, Fabrice Lambot directed an ambitious second short film, “Le Sang du Châtiment”, that was notably selected at Fantasia in Montreal, Canada, in 2005. At that same period he created Metaluna productions, with his partner Jean-Pierre Putters.
